Dortmund boss,Terzic, wants strong performance against Newcastle.

With a win at Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund's head coach Edin Terzic has pushed his team to go back into the running to advance from Champions League Group F.

The runners-up in the Bundesliga last season only managed one point from their first two games, a 0-0 home draw against AC Milan and a 2-0 loss at Paris St. Germain.

They know how important a win may be, therefore they will run out at St. James' Park tonight to take on the group leaders, who destroyed PSG 4-1 on Tyneside last time out.

When asked about Newcastle's recent success, Terzic, Slaven Bilic's assistant at West Ham, responded, "You're right, but it's not only the last few weeks.

"That includes everything they did in the previous season, as well as the history, the investment, and the money that came in.

They may have responded differently, were very astute in the transfer market, and took 18 months to assemble a club. They also managed to win the Premier League, one of the toughest leagues, and so earned a spot in the Champions League.

You can see the strength of this group we're in by looking at it. Even though they are currently leading the group, they are only three points clear of Dortmund with two games remaining, making the race extremely close.

"We need to produce a very good performance so that we can earn a victory."
